Sage and it’s Many Uses

Sage is not just your ordinary herb – it's like a superhero for your health and a secret weapon for firing up your creative side. I’ve chosen sage and my keepsake herb and the forefront of the name “Sage and Solace”.

Sage Uses:

1. Culinary:

Think of sage as your flavor wizard. It adds this earthy kick to your food, making everything from veggies to stews taste extra awesome. I’ve recently discovered that sage leaves make an excellent tea!

2. Medicinal:

Beyond its culinary allure, sage boasts a treasure trove of health benefits. Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it has been traditionally used to soothe sore throats, aid digestion, and even improve memory. The cleansing properties of sage have also made it a star in smudging rituals, believed to clear negative energy.

3. Spiritual:

Create a sacred space for your creative endeavors by burning sage or incorporating sage-infused oils into your workspace. Many cultures of multiple backgrounds attribute sage to having spiritually

Why Sage and Solace:

In the spiritual realm, sage has been used to enhance intuition or solve and resolve spiritual dilemmas.

In the cooking world, it's a wonderful cooking herb that's easy to grow, and tastes delicious!

When we refer to someone as "sage" we refer to their wisdom, serenity, and sensible nature. A herb that wears many hats (sound familiar?)

When choosing the name "sage and solace" I pulled on all these different meanings and modeled what properties and feelings I wanted to evoke here.

It's about healing, about wisdom, and combined with "Solace" it creates spaces where people can be restored!
